Dong Dong's Story

Dong Dong Liu, graduated from Columbia University, specializing in early childhood education, special education, and bilingual education. She holds qualifications as a New York State-certified teacher in early childhood education, special education, and bilingual education. She has years of practical experience in special education teaching and autism intervention.

 

Dong Dong Liu is committed to implementing and practicing multi-tiered student support systems and positive behavior support strategies within the school system. Her work extends beyond the classroom to the entire school, promoting system-level support to ensure that all students receive assistance in an environment suitable for their needs.

 

Previously, Dong Dong Liu served as a special education teacher in inclusive classrooms in a New York public school. There, she gained extensive teaching experience and professional knowledge, enabling her to construct and promote the integration and connection between Chinese autism institutions and the school system. Her work has had a profound impact on the development of autism institutions in China and the educational quality of autistic students.
