Dr Jessica Krass
My Story
Dr. Jessica Krass is a dedicated school psychologist with extensive experience in educational settings, specializing in adolescent and elementary student populations. She provides individual therapy for high school students, focusing on their mental health and emotional well-being, and conducts family therapy for children in grades K-8.
Dr. Krass has also facilitated psychoeducation groups for at-risk adolescents and collaborates closely with teachers to support students' academic success. Jessica has conducted group behavioral counseling and psychological testing for elementary students, fostering positive behavior and social-emotional development. Jessica is proficient in administering assessments like BASC and Vineland in both English and Spanish, presenting findings in child study team meetings to guide interventions. Jessica can also confidently administer semi-structured mental health clinic intakes, as well as administer and score assessments such as the WISC-V, WAIS-IV, WJ-IV COG, WJ-IV Achievement, and ADIS (Anxiety Disorders Interview for Children).
Dr. Krass has also been trained on administering various manualized treatments like Coping Cat and PASCET. She also contributes to research, having presented at NASP on restorative justice practices, emphasizing adult connection and self-care in educational settings. Jessica's diverse clinical experiences have enriched her therapeutic approach and strengthened her ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations, reflecting her commitment to professional growth and client-centered care.
